Donors

This is an 8180 daughter that has lived up the legend of the her sire.  She is a little bigger than most 8180’s but still carries enough maternal to match the power she carries.  Prior to coming to the farm she was working in several other programs and performed very well.

This cow is another really nice breeding piece.  Her calves have done very well here and we are excited to see what’s coming next.  7429 is built right as has the ability to be breed for any purpose.  She has an exciting set of EPD’s and should maintain her place in the Donor Core for years to come.

010 has worked very well for us and has proven to be a versitle breeder.  Whether it’s angus or Simmental her calves work.  She is bred well with a power packed pedigree and a nice look.

This is a Midland daughter of  Rachel 1360, who is the Natural Dam of 4101 and has contributed so much to the program here.   6600 has a very attractive look with a perfect udder.  Phenotypically she is nearly flawless, and her production is tough to beat.  She will regularly wean off one of the heaviest calves in the pen.

This one is exciting.  Another royally bred cow from a line known for all the traits that keep cow calf producers in business.  She is a rare breeding piece that gives you great looking, long lasting, low imput progeny.  She is a proven producer that is just getting started here.  Her first contributions to Sarratt Farms will hit the ground in September 2011.

This was our first acquisition when Sarratt Farms was started, and it continues to be one of the best decisions we ever made.  She is our top revenue generator and a very prolific producer.  Averaging 18.8 embryos per flush it’s easy to see why we choose her as a foundation female.  Her calves grow well, scan well, function well and sell well.  She is by far our most popular cow and her progeny are difficult to keep due to demand.  She does everything right and to date we haven’t found a mating that didn’t work with her.

This Erica cow is special.  She is royally bred and it shows.  To date she has only weaned one calf but if it continues to progress she will soon join her mother in the Donor lineup.  She is the type of cow that is difficult to mate because it’s hard to improve on perfection.

This cow is a phenotypic masterpiece.  She’s a prolific producer with a great disposition and fantastic look.  Sound in all areas she makes any breeding decision look easy.  This is the type of cow that makes it fun to ride through the herd.

0589 is summed up best with the word maternal. Her pedigree is packed with maternal genetics and she has represented her lineage very well. Her heifer calves are smooth made, moderate framed producers that pass along  solid udder structure and sound feet. She also possesses the longevity that is needed in today’s cow calf industry. This cows averages 14.5 embryos per flush and her calves don’t disappoint.

1407 is a well bred cow with a tremendous amount of body and look. She is made very well from top to bottom and transmits a ton of power to her calves. Her progeny are stout made powerful cattle easily sort to the top of the pen.
